I have really enjoyed reading this conclusion to Jenna and Rex’s story. After leaving the turbulent final year of high school behind and all of the fall out of the revelation about her mum, Jenna escape to University with Mimi hoping for a fresh start.

Bang goes the hope for a peaceful college life when it is revealed that not only is Rex attending the same college too but so are Ryder and Corey! Cue the prospect of further heartache and grief for Jenna.

This chapter in Jenna’s life sees her growing the big pair of balls she needed in high school and it was nice to see her progression and her take no prisoners attitude. I felt a little annoyed at her during her school days for not standing up to people more and almost allowing herself to be the doormat. She does however redeem herself in my eyes at college and honestly almost goes too far the other way.

Rex, hes a man smitten! Well and truly smitten but will he ever be able to break down and get through to Jenna just how much he loves her and just how sorry he is for getting involved in trying to hurt her in the first place? Add to his battle the fact that his twin brother Ryder is also in the picture. Plus the fact that his errant cousin Corey seems to have developed “something” for Mimi too, his life isn’t made easy at all!

This developed really nicely for me and the fact that these two books have been released as novellas has made this a nice bite sized instalment in the series. The ending was just perfect and I can’t wait for Mimi and Corey’s story!

Dan, he’s hot, he’s sweet and he really made my heart thump out of my chest at times but he’s got a past and you are left guessing for a long while as to what that may be! He certainly knows what he wants when he meets Lacey and his devotion to her in spite of everything is really lovely too!

Lacey has her issues too and her journey isn’t all sweetness and light either but I really warmed to her from the start and had tonnes of sympathy for her especially when she’s thrown the curveballs that life has sent her way.

This book has plenty of drama but also some amazingly hot and sweet moments too. Dan and Lacey really are meant to set the pages on fire when they are together and utterly try and destroy each other when things don’t go their way too!

Theres also a huge dollop of “exes” and a whole heap of hassle that comes with them plus an fantastic supporting cast too (Trixy – OMG too cute!!)! I cannot wait for more form Hannah and the next book needs to hurry up!!!!
