It’s Time To Meet A New Kind Of Hero…

Dante Stark has a dark secret–a legacy left to him by his father which is both a blessing and a curse. review

This book has been such a surprise!  Having met Jennifer at a recent book signing I realised I’d never read any of her books and wondered why!  So I decided to wait for this release as she was so animated about the fact it was outside of her norm so far had told me so much about it and BOY I wasn’t disappointed!  All I can say is I LOVED it and will definitely be reading more from Jennifer!

This is also a slight diversion for me too as I am not the biggest fan of paranormal but Jennifer has covered me MASSIVELY!  I loved Dante and felt his utter desolation at having to lead a lonely existence through no fault of his own.  The premise of the story is also a fab one too but I won’t say any more in case I spoilt it – all I will say is read it!!!!

Selina is a complex character and initially I wasn’t a massive fan of hers however I warmed to her immensely when her power hungry cut throat persona stated to fall for Dan the lowly post room boy!  Circumstances leading to her first meeting Dante too also smashed the hard exterior and hearing her struggles on a day to day basis warmed me to her.

The chemistry between Selina and both Dan and Dante explodes from the pages and had me gripped.  Who will she choose and will she ever be able to be happy again?!

If there ever was a book that I would recommend to someone as a “different” read then this is it and one that certainly will not disappoint.  Emotional and endearing, it is a story that will make you feel and believe and keep you entertained right until the last page.  I am definitely a die hard fan of Jennifer now and look forward to diving into her other books asap! And I cannot wait for the next in this series!

Five stars from Emthebookbabe for sure!
