I just love Kimberly and when I heard that she had a new book releasing I was so excited and she certainly didn’t disappoint!
Gabe is so broken and honestly I wished I could have reached into the book and given him a hug and tell him that everything could be ok! He is a fabulous sexy male lead and he has a huge heart, but he just simply needs someone to chase away his demons (and the whiskey) and show him how to love again. I really loved him as the broken man looking for someone to come along and save him. Sigh…
Then along comes Autumn, a brilliant leading lady who a bucket load of issues of her own. Yet her problems give Gabe a way in to help her and also help himself.
This has been a really emotional and thought provoking book and once again Kimberly has nailed it. We have the right balance of romance, desperation and the back stories of both of the main characters leave you reeling but rooting for them to end up with the happiness they both deserve. It is an emotional journey and one that deals compassionately with some deep yet real life issues. This is most definitely another five star rating from me!
Kimberly Knight lives in the mountains near a lake with her loving husband and spoiled cat, Precious. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her favorite reality TV shows, watching the San Francisco Giants and San Jose Sharks kick butt, crushing candy on Candy Crush, playing computer games like World of Warcraft with Audrey Harte and online poker. Now that she lives near a lake, she plans on working on her tan and doing more outdoor stuff like…watching hot guys ski. However, the bulk of her time is dedicated to writing and reading Romance and Erotic fiction.
